Short Bio

jShelton captures urban stillness and digital myth—merging photography, code, and story into quiet, cinematic moments.

Statement

My work begins in silence. I photograph to excavate stillness from noise—to find the moment a city exhales or a figure in motion becomes a monument.

I draw from a background in software and storytelling, using precision as a way to reach poetry. My images often unfold as stitched panoramas or minimal monochrome portraits, shaped by themes of urban solitude, digital memory, and the myth of permanence.

These aren’t records of place—they’re invitations to pause, to be present.
